I have to admit that this week’s What to Wear was hastily done — and maybe not the most flattering outfit in the world, but very comfy! The truth is I don’t wear a lot of blue, so I had to dig into my closet to find a shirt. And by the time I did that, I was running a bit late and wanted to get the photo done so I cropped off my makeup-less, wet-haired head.
The jeans were the easy part! That’s a basic, simple way to wear some blue. And okay, so that shirt is gigantic, but it’s really comfy! I love the pattern, but I don’t love how easily it wrinkles, and I haven’t quite figured out how to deal with the sleeves. Nonetheless, it’s covered in little blue flowers, so it fit the bill.
I have even less blue accessories than I do blue clothing, so I stuck with neutrals. The scarf is one of my beloved new eternity scarves, and the shoes have been in my closet FOREVER (and okay, they are a little beat up — this is more of a weekend outfit than a ‘going somewhere fancy’ outfit, for sure).
So — fashion-forward, maybe not, but awesome for a lazy day!
Shirt: Old Navy | Jeans: Warehouse One | Scarf: Call it Spring | Shoes: Payless
Now, I highly recommend you check out the other ladies, because I bet they aren’t wearing shirts that could double as pajama tops.

love the shirt! I’m always afraid that scarves (as part of your outfit, not as winter outerwear) are going to go out of style. I love how you can be warm and fashionable at the same time with a good infinity scarf! And I wish I could wear some of my flats and heels but I’ve been living in boots for like 3 months now. Did you wear those shoes outside?
No way! My feet would freeze off.
I already push my luck with the ankle boots I wear instead of proper winter boots.
You look great! I think we should both stop apologizing so much when we do fashion posts.
It’s hard to get used to taking pictures of my clothes! Hah. Hopefully as it gets easier I’ll be more confident.
hahah. I didn’t have much blue either!
Love this blouse though! You look comfy and cute!
Thank you!
I tend to wear warmer colours… or black.
Love that shirt- such a cute floral print!
Thanks!
This is the first time I’ve realized just how long your legs are! Wowza. You got some hot gams!
I love that you think this is great lazy wear. I would totally wear this out and about (maybe even to work!). What in the world does that say about this girl!?
I *am* 5’11… and a half, haha.
And… I have worn this to work, but slightly less wrinkled. So if I did a better job with the steamer I would wear it out! But in its wrinkled state, better for at home (in theory).
5’11!! Wowza. You’re one lucky lady. Every time I try on pants and have to roll up inches upon inches of denim, I wish for long, lean legs like yours.
Hah, I always have to check inseams when I order online… 28″ won’t do it for me.
I love the scarf, and the shirt does look very comfy. =}
Thanks! Infinity scarves make life easy.
I like your cute comfy looking outfit! the flowers are so delicate. Yay for us with wet hair, haha!
I pretty much always show up to work with wet hair! It takes forever to blowdry, and I am lazy.
I love the scarf! such a delicate fabric.
Thanks! It’s really pretty in the right light — it glitters a bit.
