Let’s start with this — I am not an avid ladies night-er. The idea sounds good but I only have so many lady friends in real life and we usually end up hanging out in a larger crowd. Truth be told I have only been to one get together specifically called a ladies night… and I wore pajamas to it because I felt kinda sick. I am so not fashionable, seriously. But I did close out that evening wearing borrowed hot pink pants, so that must be redeeming in some way, right?
Hey look, I have wet hair again!
Matt took these photos for me and I asked him for closeups (I meant of my accessories) so here you can see my necklace a bit closer. I thought I’d go a bit girly for ladies night!
Those purple pants are back. They’re still a bit uncomfy, but I’m hanging onto them, and they seemed like a fun callback to my pink pants escapades. I like them styled like this way better than my chambray shirt attempt! I’m hoping by spring they’ll fit better and I’ll be able to wear them at their proper cropped length without trying to fool everyone using boots. [My face is not that Oompa-Loompa-ish in real life.]
Hearts, purple, a shiny necklace… how’s that for ladylike?

Do you do the ladies night thing? What would you wear? (Do you leave the house in pajamas with wet hair like me?
)

I really love those purple pants. Uncomfy or not, they’re super flattering on you. (Although, I don’t usually promote wearing clothes that aren’t cozy… I mean, you saw my old lady cardigan, right!?)
I think anything is gonna feel uncomfy today because I’m sick, unfortunately! I couldn’t handle wearing tight jeans for that long… I’m far more comfy now!
Love the heart print on your blouse! And, yes, I would definitely wear jammies to a ladies night. For sure! xo
Thanks!
PJs were a comfy idea… but then pictures went up on Facebook and everyone was looking cute but me, haha.
I love the color of these pants! and the heart shirt is super cute.
Thanks!
I love that top with the super cute hearts! And I can totally relate. I have a pair of pyjama pants that I wear so often they are more like a uniform. I’d totally go out in them; except I just don’t go out.
I try to not do it often, but PJ pants in public are soooo comfy!
I love the pants and your heart shirt!
Thanks!
It’s a fun shirt!
Your blouse print is seriously adorable!

Thank you! Gotta love Old Navy.
You look adorable in those bright purple pants. I love them on you! I don’t do ladies nights very often, but when I do they often consist of dinner and a few drinks, so I keep my attire pretty darn casual!
Casual is definitely the way to go.
Those boots are awesome! I’m such a boot junkie
I love the purple pants- I really can’t get enough of the colored denim trend! I wish I had more in my closet!
nice pants! I need some more colored ones, I get bored of my jeans.
