It’s that time of year again! Mother’s Day is coming up, May 11. This year we’re likely shopping local for our moms (and sending a few things in the mail!) but I thought I’d round up some neat gift options, online.
1. Umba Box
The Discover Box is a great deal, even for Canadians ($34 on a month-by-month basis, shipping included). In it, you’ll get a small selection of handmade items. I’m a sucker for subscription boxes and if you go that route, your mom will be happy every single month!
A modern twist on the classic cameo. The wood is really pretty! This is a great gift for someone with little kids, I think.
3. FitBit Flex
This little wristband does a lot! It tracks steps, distance, calories burned and active time, monitors sleep, works as an alarm, and lets you set goals. For the mom on the go, this is an awesome choice.
I actually sent my mom a link to this and told her she should get it. It’s basically a grown-up sippy cup.
Lush gifts are relatively goof-proof, if you ask me. A big box of bath stuff = a break for mama. Perhaps with a sippy cup of wine. You never know.
6. Picnic Stix
Garden stakes for your wine glasses and bottle! These would also be neat for camping. And they’re surprisingly inexpensive.
That’s my roundup! Nothing too expensive, but all things that I think would make your mama smile (unless your particular mama doesn’t like wine or things that are pretty, in which case, try this).
