Remember Their Names: In Memory of Kasandra, Cherica & Others – And since Kasandra Perkins’ name is not in the headlines (and Cherica Adams’ name was not in the headlines), but is rather hidden somewhere between the facts of the case and the eulogy of a man deemed the tragic, martyred hero, I wrote this piece to call out her name. A woman experiences the “Rain Room” art installation by “Random International” in The Curve at the Barbican Center in London, England, on October 3, 2012. The “Rain Room” is a 100 square meter field of falling water which visitors are invited to walk into with sensors detecting where visitors are standing. The installation runs until March 3, 2013.
